It is the goal of the VSA, to ensure that each scholar’s stay in America would be beneficial, both in their research and family life.

The first thoughts on every scholar’s mind is about all the needs they have before and during the first month in America.  We are here to help.

Once you are settled in your new home, we hear everyone say, I feel safe now but my family and friends are far away and I am lonely. This may be the best part of what we offer, a place to feel welcomed and make new friends from around the world. Truly a home away from home.

Every scholar wants to produce quality research. Over the past twenty years we have learned that quality research and personal well-being of feeling safe, secure and valued as a person are main contributors to producing quality research.
